What makes Ed different
Ed doesn't just coach tennis — he lives it. As an active competitive player himself, his coaching is informed by real, current experience on the court. That passion is genuine, and every student feels it from the very first session.
In his own words
With over 16 years on the court, Ed has developed a coaching style that adapts to every player — from 6-year-olds picking up a racket for the first time to competitive amateurs chasing their next tournament win
Coaching Methodology
Every element of Coach's approach is built around one belief: great tennis starts from the inside out.
Technical Foundation
Perfect mechanics before power. Ed breaks down every stroke into learnable pieces, then rebuilds them into fluid, consistent motion. From grip to follow-through, nothing is left to chance.
Tactical Intelligence
Tennis is chess at 100mph. Players learn to read the court, construct points intentionally, and adapt their game plan during a match — not just between sets.
Physical Development
Footwork is the foundation of every great shot — and it's one of Ed's signature focuses. Every session incorporates purposeful movement training and fitness work appropriate to your level and age. You won't just play better tennis, you'll feel fitter, faster, and more explosive on the court.
Mental Resilience
The match is won and lost in the mind. Ed integrates mental skills training into every session — focus, composure, and the confidence to play your best game when it matters most.
